Recipe Editorial Standards
Kitchen Handi publishes recipes to help home cooks make practical meals. Clear instructions and honest attribution matter more than the number of recipes in the collection.
Launch collection and community recipes
The Kitchen Handi launch collection includes AI-assisted recipe writing and editorial preparation. Editorial checks of ingredients, quantities, method and image suitability are different from cooking a dish in a real kitchen. Launch recipes are not represented as kitchen-tested unless a specific test is documented.
Community recipes credit the contributor. A publication decision or contributor badge does not certify that a recipe has been independently kitchen-tested. Family Vault recipes remain separate from the public collection.
What we check
Our publication workflow checks for a coherent ingredient list, useful quantities and units, an ordered method, recipe-specific instructions and an appropriate image. Regional and home-cooking references inform editorial cross-checking. Variations are common: a published version does not claim to be the only authentic way to make a dish.
Estimated times and servings can vary with equipment and portion size. Passive waits such as soaking and fermentation should be read alongside the preparation and cooking figures. Missing information and mistakes can still occur; use Contact to flag them.
Images and AI assistance
Images may be licensed photographs, contributor uploads or AI-assisted illustrations. Credits and source links are shown where recorded. An illustrative image is not evidence that the exact recipe was cooked or photographed. We do not invent photo credits, recipe authors, reviews or ratings.
Kitchen Assistant responses are generated separately from the published method. Check quantities, substitutions, allergens and cooking advice before relying on a response.
Corrections and transparency
Recipe update dates reflect the content record, not a claim that a new kitchen test took place. We review reported errors before editing public content. If you have cooked a dish, share specific feedback about texture, heat, timing and quantities rather than a rating alone.
Recipes are general cooking information. Ingredient labels and your own food-safety practices remain important, especially for allergies, dietary restrictions and food prepared for children.
